"This is wrong?" Elissa gestured at the pile of corpses as she fetched petrol from the back of the car and poured it on them before flicking open a lighter and setting fire to the lot of them. "Saving people's lives is wrong?"

"No. Telling me to shoot you for some sick twisted game is wrong. I thought you gone, Elissa! Dead!" Colin shouted.

"It wasn't a game!" Elissa retaliated. "I needed to make sure you were safe! You think I didn't have to go through that? I had to shoot my own mother, Armstrong! My mother! And then have her call me and tell me she was okay, when I was just a child! I didn't choose this life! That's why I'm not covered I engine oil, because the monsters know my scent! I've been in this life from birth! I was never meant to be born!" Elissa yanked open the car door and slammed it behind her, starting the engine.

Colin got back to where he was supposed to be but didn't say anything to Elissa.

Elissa drove off in silence, hands gripping tightly onto the steering wheel.

Colin stared out the window. "How did you expect me I react? Laugh and be happy about it?"

Elissa didn't answer, only pulled up at the nearest motel and stalked inside.

"Great. First fights with Sierra and now fights with Elissa." Colin muttered to himself. He climbed out of the car and made and received multiple phone calls before walking into the motel. He stood and looked at Elissa. He shoved his hands in his pockets. "I'm sorry for being a twit."

Elissa nodded. "Get your stuff," was all she said, showing him the room number on the key.

Colin grabbed his stuff.

Elissa was already out of the shower when he came in. She was sat on the end of one of the beds, filing her nails.

Colin put his stuff down. "Is this going to a repeat of that time in Mexico?" Colin asked.

Elissa continued picking dirt out from under her nails.

"Come on Elissa, I said I'm sorry. Why are you giving me the silent treatment?" Colin asked.

"There's the bathroom. Have your shower." Elissa gestured, then got up and stretched, her lean body unfolding.

Colin pursed his lips before deciding to do something that probably was stupidest thing he ever could have done. He walked over and hugged Elissa tightly, locking his arms so it would be tough to get away from him.

Elissa watched him and as he moved, she tackled him to the bed. She closed the motel door and began to get dressed, waiting him for him to go to use the shower.

Colin huffed out a breath and went to take a shower.

By the time he got back, Elissa was dressed and working on her laptop on her bed.

Colin looked at her as he came out of the bathroom.

Elissa didn't look up.

"Okay look. Whatever the hell your problem is with me, I'm sick of you acting like a child." Colin said. He grabbed his stuff. "I'm going home to my kids."

"Bye." Elissa waved a hand and still didn't look up.

Colin left.

Elissa didn't blink.
