Liam was a little surprised but returned the kiss eagerly.

"I love you," Halo murmured softly. "I love you so much."

"I love you too." Liam whispered and kissed his nose playfully.

Sam smiled from where she was and tried not to cry. Resting a hand on her stomach, she got up and waddled to Liam's room.

Liam watched his sister with concern. "I'm going to kill that kid for leaving her.

Halo nodded slowly, and pulled Liam back in for another kiss. "I love you more," he murmured with a grin.

Liam chuckled. "Thanks for the distraction you dork." he said after the kiss. "I love you most."

"Not true," Halo returned easily, wrapping him in a tight hug.

"Totally true." Liam replied, leaning into him.

Halo chuckled softly. "If you say so."

Liam smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Sap," Halo teased softly.

"Your sa-" Liam began but was cut off by a pained cry of help from his room. Instantly alert, his head snapped in that direction. "Sam.."

Halo was on his feet in an instant, and shot into Liam's room. "What's wrong?" he asked urgently of her. "Let me touch you, I can take the pain away."

Sam instantly grabbed onto Halo's hand. "I think... I think the baby's coming."

Halo grimaced at the pain he was drawing from Sam, but stayed silent, biting his lip. "Liam! Get your stuff!" he called, then looked back at Sam. "Can you walk to the car?"

Liam immediately got himself into his chair and rolled into the room. "What's going on?" Liam asked.

"The baby's coming. Can you grab my overnight bag?" she asked, pointing at a small blue duffel bag. She nodded at Halo's question and slowly stood herself up.

(Halo. The only man alive able to answer the question among the sexes. Which hurts more, childbirth or being kicked in the groin?)

(Lol. Probably childbirth imho)

Halo helped her up and walked her out to the car, making sure to grab jackets and keys.

Liam grabbed the duffel and his stuff before rolling out of the flat and shutting the door behind them.

Sam grimaced and stopped walking as she got another contraction. Let out a whimper of pain, she squeezed her eyes shut.

Halo drew the pain out of her with a sharp intake of breath, but continued as if nothing was wrong

"Ha-Halo, don't you dare take all the pain." Sam said, looking at him. "That's not fair to you." She could feel the pain leaving her but didn't want him to do it on his own.
Liam rolled alongside them.

Halo ignored what she said, pulling all the pain out of her. That was his job.

"Halo." Sam said firmly.
"Just let him do his thing, Sam." Liam said as he rolled over to the car and pulled the door open.

Halo helped her into the car "Will you be alright while I drive?"

"Yes." she said and sat in the back seat. Liam maneuvered himself into the car beside her.

Halo shoved the wheelchair in the boot and then drove them as quicky as he could to the hospital.

On the way there, Sam had another contraction but refused to give Halo the pain so she gripped Liam's hand tightly.
