"Kora!" Jordan yelled.

Kora hears him and shouts, through the pain, "Jordan!" She says while still running as she hears the truck of her captor getting closer. Joe shows up and lead the police in the opposite direction that Kora is in.

Jordan followed the sound of Kora's voice. "Kora!" He yelled again, trying to locate her.

kora hears him and stumbles to his voice, but Mike catches up to her first, "Nice try my dear." He says and shoots his gun at her leg. Kora screams out in pain and collapses as Mike approaches to load her into the truck.

"No!" Jordan screams and looks around panicked. He stands in the forest, tired and out of breath, now completely silent. He looked at the ground. Where was he supposed to go now? He had no idea where they were going and there was a large chance Kora would be dead if he wasn't quick enough. He has to get clues. He had to find whatever he could in Kora's apartment.

With Joe distracting the police, it was clear that Jordan would be on his own to find Kora. Meanwhile, Kora was taken back to the shed in the woods, and her hands were bound by a chain attached to the ceiling. Mike walks around her making Kora flinch every step he takes. She hoped that Jordan would head to her apartment and find what he could. Kora always made copies of all the cases she was given just in case. She hoped he would find what he needed then find her.

Jordan walked around Kora's apartment, opening every drawer in every filing cabinet and looking in every nook and cranny, trying to find clues. What was the name of the case file the police came looking for? He needed to see if she had another copy of that case file. He knew it was about Kora and her dad. He read through various case files to try and find the one he needed.

Kora always alphabetized all of her files, and there under the C section was case file CM-042, Kora's father's case and under S was S-138, Joe and Mike's case. Plus she always kept papers with the following text on it. I Kora Maria Craven, do give, then a blank space, permission for the use of a K9 search dog in the case of an emergency. Then underneath was Kora's signature.
 Kora's TV was still on showing static, when suddenly there was a bulletin on the News, 'This just in, after a few days of being reported missing, Judge Kora Craven's captors recently released this video. Please be advised that the images we are about to see will be graphic.' The image then shows a very beaten half dead looking Kora and a voice in the background, "Well go on and tell them my dear." Kora looks up then speaks so softly it was hard to hear, "I Judge Kora Craven..."  "Louder!" Shouts the voice and though it was shown you could hear the sound of a knife being dug into her leg as she winces.

Jordan grabbed the two case files and watched the news bulletin. He shut off the TV, unable to watch Kora in her condition be tortured like that. He penned his name on the paper giving him permission to use a K-9 search dog. He went out to his car and put the case files in his glove box, driving as fast as he could to the police station, showing them the paper he had with Kora's signature on it.

Kora winces and starts again, "I Judge Kora Craven am guilty for murder of Mr. Craven and should be punished." Kora then saw this as an opportunity and added, "And you, Officers Joe and Mike, are guilty of abduction and torcher of a public official as well as for the supposed suicide of Rachel Brown...."  She didn't get to finish. Mike starts to whip her just before the clip cuts off.
The officers give Jordan their search dog, Nigel, and send him on his way.

Jordan had been smart enough to put one of Kora's t-shirts in the back of his car. One that she had worn a day or two ago so that the dog could find her scent. He showed it to the dog so he could sniff it and sent the dog on his way once they got to the forest. Jordan decided it was best to follow the dog. How would they fight the officers? He wasn't sure. He didn't have a weapon but he'd have to find some way to resist them. He also still had the case files in the glove box.

Nigel leads him through the woods, then stops and lays down next to a patch of grass. Though it was now a bit faded, it was clear what it was. Blood. Kora's blood. and the trail lead all the way through the woods to the cottage on the other side.

Jordan followed the trail slowly and stealthily, ready for what awaited them at the end.

Nigel walks him to the cabin but then refuses to go any further. Meanwhile, from the inside of the hut Kora's cries could be heard, "No, please!" followed by more cries out in pain.

Jordan looked at the cabin, unsure of how to approach this. He had to act quickly.

Mike walks out of the room but gags Kora first. Then he hides and waits. All while Jordan is completely unaware of the trap being set.
Kora hears footsteps outside and struggles, making muffled sounds through the gag. She hoped that someone would hear her, but at the same time, didn't want anyone else to get hurt.

Jordan circled the cabin, looking for an entrance. There was none. Then, he got an idea. He lit a fire in a fire pit away from the cabin and figured the front door would be the best way in.

Kora sees the smoke and tries to make as much noise as she can.

(What are the police officers names? And do they have the case file still?)

{Joe and Mike, and yes.}

Jordan thought he might be able to trick the officers with the case file copy. (He also had to make sure he kept the one about the two officers private. "Joe.. Mike..." Jordan called, his heart racing.

Kora hears him, and tries to make as much sound as she could through her gag. Mike stays hidden and smiles.

"I've got a little something for you." Jordan said.

Kora shakes around trying to make more noise so Jordan could hear her.

Jordan sighed. He held out a case file in his hands. Another copy of a random case file he grabbed from Kora's apartment, just in case it was needed. He hid the case file on Joe and Mike and the copy of the one on Kora and her father. He put this other case file in a manila folder. "In front of me, I have a case file that pertains to you two. You give me Kora and I burn the file." He wanted to tell Kora it wasn't actually the file on the two of them, but she'd figure out sooner or later.
