"Hey Kora. It's Jordan." Jordan said nervously.

Kora smiles, "Hey. What's on your mind?"

"I was wondering if you were free tonight." Jordan said.

Kora thinks a moment, "I should be free. What did you have in mind?"

"Nothing extravagant." Jordan said. "I was hoping maybe we could just go out stargazing or something."

Kora chuckels, "I'll look forward to it then."

"Great. Song by here to pick me up, say... 8:30?"

Kora gives a small sigh, "Yeah sure. I'll see you then." She says, even though she was thinking that it wasn't very attractive that he needed her to pick him up rather than take a cab.

"See you then." Jordan said with a smile.

"Sure thing." She says then hangs up. It felt more like a highschool hang out rather than a date, but it was a bit late to back out at this point.

Jordan could hear her disappointment but he had his own plan.

Kora heads to work rhen that night goes to pick him up at the hotel.

Jordan walked outside the hotel. "Now I know what you're thinking but there's a reason I had you drive here. I have a specific place I want to go." He said.

Kora sighs, "Alright. Where to?"

"You're gonna park at the entrance to the hiking trails a couple miles down the road, I'll lead the way from there." Jordan said.

Kora gives him a look, "How do you know the trails?"

"I've been down here once a couple years ago." Jordan said. "I have a marker somewhere to indicate this cool place. Odds are it's no longer there but it's a very subtle marker."

Kora shrugs, "Alright." She says and drives to the spot and let's him lead.

Jordan walks down the trail. "It's quite a ways down the trail but worth it, I assure you." Jordan said. The night sky was getting full all around them.

Kora just follows keeping her gaurd up.

Justin sees the marker. A small white piece of cloth tied to a stick to look like a flag, hidden a bit. "Just be careful down this trail." Jordan said. "Watch your step."

Kora follows.

Jordan moves some plants out of the way and walks onto a clearing where there is trees all around them to keep them hidden from anyone who may suspect someone is there. There is a stream a few feet below them and another clearing on the other side of the stream, a few feet across. "This is it. I love this place. It's beautiful. You can see most all the stars from here." He said.

Kora looks around and smiles, "Not bad. How did you find this place?"

"Just kinda stumbled across it one day." He put his hand into Kora's. "Isn't it great? The whole sky is visible. No unnecessary lights or anything."
