Dawn nods, "I think she did, otherwise I don't think she would have been as happy to see you after all those years."

Bridgett was at home working on a new song.

"Do you ever wonder what things might be like if you had done things differently?" Justin asked.

Dawn looks at him, "What do you mean?"

"Like do you ever wonder about some of the decisions you made and how your life could be different because of it?" Justin asked.

Dawn thinks a moment, "Depends. My relationships? no. Some decisions I might have not thought through? yeah I've thought about it. Why?"

Justin shook his head. "I don't know. Just something I've thought of." He said

Dawn gives him a look, "That cant be the only reason. Something else is going on. What is it?"

"I'm kind of embarrassed to say." Justin said.

"At this point nothing surprises me. So what is it?"

"I just constantly think what might have happened if that day played out differently." Justin said. "Hannah and I were talking about it one day. She said she regretted the decision she made to be with Zak instead of me and that's stuck with me ever since, despite my heart being with you."

Dawn just shakes her head and smiles, "Then you haven't changed since our camp days."

Justin sighed. "Dawn. I have a confession to make." He paused for a moment before taking a deep breath. "When you left camp, we never really officially split but I had thought I may never actually see you again. There was a night on the beach before Hannah left and we kissed..." He took another deep breath. "I just don't want us to have secrets. We're getting married. We should be able to tell each other things and the guilt has been eating at me all this time."

Dawn just laughs.

Justin raised an eyebrow, waiting for Dawn to say something.

"Justin we were kids. Besides I don't think either of us ever hoped that this would last forever. I mean yeah we did anyway but I don't think either of us really thought that we would be this lucky, let alone live this long." She said once she caught her breath.

"We have a hell of a story." Justin said with a smile.

Dawn smiles and nods, "That we do. Think it would sell?" She said half jokingly.

Bridgett tunes her guitar, but none of this felt like her anymore. Did she make a mistake by killing Beth? What scared her was that she honestly considered that she might have made a mistake in killing Beth instead of taking her up on her offer.

"If the right person wrote it." Justin said with a chuckle.

Dawn looks at him, "Well you could change some of the names, but I think others would read it."

"Are you suggesting I write it?" Justin asked.

"Well why not? I mean it is our story?"

"I've just never wrote something like that before." Justin said. "And how would I keep it believable for mortals? If someone figured out it's based on a real story, it could mean trouble for not just us but living demigods everywhere."

Dawn thinks a moment, "Well I don't think you have anything to worry about with the mortals. They think anything with magic or that doesn't follow what they already believe is fiction. As for protecting the rest of us, you can change the names. Besides, saying that a story is 'based on a true story' means nothing especially to those of us who actually read."

"I guess I can't market it as a true story. It's purely sci-fi, a tongue in cheek, what if." Justin said, the gears already turning.

Dawn smiles and gives him a kiss, "And that's why I love you." She says as little Hannah wakes up. Dawn goes and picks her up then pauses, "Holy Hera."
