Jenna was listening to the briefing of the new case and her jaw dropped when she heard Killian was on probation "But thats not far. Killians good at his job and we could really use him on the case." She said trying to defend her boyfriend

Their boss looks at her, "Seeing as you are still new to the team I'll give you a word of advice. Life isn't fair especially in our line of work. Ill let this slide Swan but speak out of turn again or tell me how to do my own job, and you will be joining Agent Jones on Probation. Am I making myself clear?"

Jenna bit her lip and looked at Jillian. She couldn’t risk her job, no matter her feelings for him. She just dropped her head and mumbled under her breath “yes sir” she then turned and went to her desk before she changed her mind and said something stupid.

Killian frowns, "What the hell was that Swan?"

“What do you mean?” Jenna asked with an innocent look in her eye before her gaze hardened “you can’t actually be mad at me right now. I was trying to help.”

"Im just frustrated. The Big B has the final say around here. I just don't want to see you lose your job because the boss doesn't like my methods."

Jenna nodded, she knew he was right. She gave a quick glance around and saw that no one else was there. She quickly stepped up to killian and kissed him “I just don’t think it’s fair”

"That's just our line of work. If someone screws up it could not just cost us our reputations but potentially lives." He says and sighs then hands her a small red box, "Was going to give this to you tonight but I think we both could use something good. Happy Valentines Day." He said, and inside was a charm bracelet with a charm already on there a small gun to symbolize her first year on the team.

Jenna smiled at the bracelet “oh killian. I love it” she then reached into her desk and pulled out a small leather box with a new watch inside “I remember you complaining about your watch acting up a while ago”

Killian smiles as he puts it on, "Its perfect. I have some paper work to do and I've made reservations at that 5 star restaurant for tonight."

“We’re going to Labelles tonight?” Jenna asked in shock. It was impossible to get reservations there. She smiled and gave his hand a squeeze “it’ll be perfect. I’m going to head home and get ready. Pick me up later?”

Killian smiles, "Cant wait love."

Jenna smiled and kissed his cheek before walking out the door and heading home

Killian heads home to get ready for the date

Jenna decided on a knee length black dress and a pair of silver heels and her ruby earrings to wear for dinner

Killian goes to her house in a sleek suit, and knocks on the door.
