When Derek woke, he groaned automatically and rolled over, forgetting there was another occupant in the bed.

Meredith let out a small shriek and hit the floor with a grunt. "Ow." she said, laughing a little.

Derek was awake in an instant. "Oh my God, Meredith, are you okay?" he asked, getting out of bed to help her up.
