Nathan stood off to the side, waiting for his coffee. He looked around a bit, and then smiled when he saw the barista handing him his coffee. He took it and started walking away. He bumped into a chair and nearly dumped his coffee on the girl sitting in it, but managed to stabilize the coffee. He quickly started apologizing in Portuguese. "Com licença, senhorita, sinto muito." he said and touched her shoulder to see if she was alright.

Jordyn looked up. She tried her best Portugese. She spoke slowly. "Está tudo certo, senhor. Desculpe, eu não falo bem português. Sou dos Estados Unidos"

(It's quite alright, sir. Sorry, I don't speak Portuguese well. I'm from the USA.)

Nathan froze the minute he saw her face. "J-Jordyn?" he said quietly.

Jordyn froze. "D-do I know you?" She asked.

"It's me.. It's Nathan... Nathan Hale." he said softly, still shocked to see her standing in front of him.

"Nathan Hale." Jordyn said. She pretended to ponder it for a moment.

His heart sank. Of course she wouldn't remember him. A beautiful girl like her probably had guys, and girls, pining over her. "Sorry. Wrong Jordyn." he said, heading for the door.

"Hold on. Wait." Jordyn said.

Nathan stopped and turned. "Yeah?" he said.

"I may not particularly remember you, even if you remember me but I'm all for a cute guy sitting down and talking to me." Jordyn said.

Nathan scratched the back of his head and thought about it. Sitting there in front of the girl he had loved in his teens when everything was going wrong, or walk away. Either way, he'd soon be forgotten from her mind. Letting out a deep breath, he moved and sat across from her.

Jordyn blushed. She didn't think that would work. "Tell me a bit about yourself."

"I'm a sports agent. I have a twin brother, Lucas, and a nephew. I played basketball but decided to be an agent instead." Nathan said.

Jordyn nodded. "I came down here from New York after getting an offer from a modeling agency so I pursued my dreams." She said with a smile.

Nathan nodded. "You're a model." he said and smiled. "I expected you to get into sports."

"Something just clicked in me one day and I started doing little jobs and got noticed by an agency down here." Jordyn said.

"Awesome." he said, nodding and sipping his coffee.

Jordyn smiled. "Yeah." She sighed.

"What's the matter?" Nathan asked, leaning forward. His eyes instantly filled with concern.

"What's your last name?" Jordyn asked.

"Hale." he replied.

"Nathan Hale..." She hit the table. "Oh my gods... It's you!?"

Nathan's eyebrow flicked up. "What?"

"I think I remember you. We dated when we were teenagers, right?" Jordyn asked.

Nathan chuckled. "Yes. We did." he said.
