Ben walked towards Jonathan and draped the coat over his shoulders. "Jonathan, come with me." Ben said.

Jonathan shook his head, shrugging off the coat abd backing more into the bushes.

"Jonathan, enough of this. You'll catch a cold." Ben said, worry making him frustrated. He kept his tone even and prayed that Tom would get here fast.

"Colds are spread through viruses and can't be caught by staying outside," Jonathan huffed.

Ben ran a hand through his hair and sat down on the wet ground.

Jonathan wriggled to get away, fighting Tom's grip on him.

Ben watched his son and fiancée. He felt exhausted and useless.

Jonathan finally stopped wriggling and Tom settled him on his hip, stroking his hair as he cried into his shoulder.

Jo came down the stairs, holding Echo and David followed behind her.

Tom climber the stairs and went to the bathroom, running a hot bath for Jonathan, who hadn't moved.
