Emma nodded "yeah he's a chef."
"Yeah" David replied.

"Thats quite impressive." Lily said looking back at Dylan "Is he one of your brothers too? It seems Im meeting a new one every day."
Josie chuckled "It must be hard. Being a police officer. i could never do it."

Emma shook her head "He just a close friend."
"Yeah it is" David said "it also takes up a lot of time."

"Ok good to know. Its hard to keep up." LIly said laughing
Josie nodded "Well obviously you get some free time. Or else we wouldnt be having this conversation."

Emma nodded and chuckled "yeah that's true."
"Yeah, you have a point there" David said.

"So hes not like a boyfriend or anything?" Lily asked teasing her friend
Josie cleared her throat a bit "Maybe on your next free time we can spend some time together without me serving you drinks."

Emma laughed "Of course not."
"Maybe" David said with a chuckle.

Josie smiled and heard her name being called "Shoot. Gotta attend to other guests." SHe said before going to make more drinks
Lily laughed as well "I mean, hes cute. So I thought Id ask."

David nodded and took a sip of his drink.
Emma pretended to gag.

Lily pushed her friends shoulder playfully "So is there room for one more for dinner?"
After serving the other guests Josie walked back to David "Up for a refill?"

"No thanks" David said.
"Yeah, always" Emma said.
Dylan just nodded.

Josie nodded "Probably for the best. Cant have the law stumbling around town drunk."
Lily smiled "Thanks. What are we having?" She asked turning to Dylan

"Chicken Curry" Dylan said.
"Yeah, you could say that again" David said.

"Sounds delicious." Lily said "Is there anything I can do to help?"
Josie smiled "I also think it will make your wife happy for you to not come home too smashed."

"No, I'm fine" Dylan said.
Emma rolled her eyes "don't mind him he doesn't like other people in the kitchen while he works."
David sighed deeply "Yeah if I had one but I'm still looking, I thought I did once, nice short black hair and beautiful eyes but I lost her."

"A man with a plan. I like it." Lily said blushing a tiny bit before clearing her throat "So hows the youtube channel going?"
"Im so sorry." Josie said "What was her name?"

"Marry" David said "we were close when we were younger but we parted ways and I haven't seen her since."
"It's going well thanks for asking" Emma said.

"That must be horrible." Josie said "If I were to be seperated from Jax, Id be awfully depressed. Granted Jax and I arent in love. but he is still my longest friend."
Lily nodded "I need to find a better job. The cafe is great and all. But I want more, you know."

"What did you have in mind" Emma asked.
David just nodded.

"Maybe waiting in an actual restaraunt." Lily said
"Well hey, my shift is about to be over. But Ill see you maybe tomorrow?" Josie said

David nodded "maybe."
"What about after that" Emma asked.

Josie clocked out and grabbed her jacket and began walking home
"I have no idea." Lily sighed "Im in college, but I have no idea what to major in."

Killian sighs, "Tell you what. What say we finish that date we started when this over?"

Gwen walks to the address when her nose tickles and she can feel herself hiss out, Demigod blood. She saw the tall boy with dark hair walk her direction. She turned away so fast her sunglasses whipped off her face. she goes to pick them up as another hand reaches out to grab them as well. Then without thinking, she looks up at the boy. But in place of a warm smile, there was a stone statue of a boy, with wide terrified eyes.

Jenna smiled "I like the sound of that."

David finished his drink before sighing and getting up to leave.
Emma nodded "That's understandable."
